nPower Championship: Middlesbrough v Portsmouth

It was Saturday and two ex premiership sides (though seems a long time ago) were head to head. Things were moving quite dull until Scott McDonald of Middlesbrough assisted  his fellow team mate in

Middlesbrough 1 - 0 Portsmouth


Action continued with Portsmouth struggling and Middlesbrough trying to take advantage. ex Chelsea lad Tel Ben Hamim was not having the best game of his career for Portsmouth. Ref whistled and Middlesbrough went in their dressing room with a one goal lead over Portsmouth.


Half Time: Middlesbrough 1 - 0 Portsmouth

As the second half began Portsmouth players suddenly woke up from deep sleep and stunned Middlesbrough as

After the goal every one from 22 men on the pitch were trying to get into ref's books some famous name who managed to do so were williams and McDonalds of Middlesbrough and Ward, Hreidarsson, Halford, Ben Hamim and Mokoena of Portsmouth.

The match was all Middlesbrough's until the 90th minute when

A fairy tale ending for Portsmouth, not so much for Middlesbrough. Thats football the game we love.
